Discover the right Iowa vacation and rest for some solitude

Planning the ideal vacation getaway is tough.  However, in a modern frantic paced environment everyone is competing against all of the obligations and time pressures you face in your life.  Sometimes it is nice to obtain a fresh perspective on destination opportunities that you might not have considered before.  Iowa travel gives you an occasion to see something which you may not be able to find in your own home.

Idea #1: Riverside Gardens – Monticello, Iowa – Located on the north side of Monticello, Riverside Gardens is a city park that was built by volunteers and is maintained by volunteers. The gardens are a showcase for the diversity of flowers available for today’s gardens and home to many local species of plants.

Idea #2:  In the Future -Captain Kirk’s Birthplace – Riverside, IA. The future will hold the exciting birth of Captain James Kirk of the Starship Enterprise in Riverside, Iowa! Riverside is where interstate 380 ends and “the Trek Begins,” or so says a sign as you exit. James T. Kirk, captain of the starship Enterprise, will be born here on March 22, 2233.

Of course there are a lot of other destinations that you might desire to see on your Iowa vacation.  You might only be staying for a brief period of time, but you can appreciate and experience much of the rich culture, heritage, and fun that the state has to offer.  You certainly will never be bored  – check out this Iowa tourism video – there is always something new to see and do.
