Although the job title ‘facilities manager’ may not be very exciting, it can lead to a good career, allowing you to work where you want. This is because most large firms need facilities managers, and indeed facilities staff at all levels. And they are often looking for new facilities staff.

There are many ways of finding the best FM jobs. You can either scan the internet regularly, or you can sign up at one or more facilities management recruitment agencies. These agencies specialise in recruiting facilities staff, and usually have quite a few FM jobs available all the time. Even in these difficult times, firms need good facilities managers.

You see, not that many firms are involved in facilities management recruitment, and most know the business very well. They know what firms want in their staff, what they are prepared to pay, and will help you prepare for an interview.

These days, it is best to get yourself on a mailing list at a facilities management recruitment specialist. As soon as a suitable job comes available, the agent will contact you with details of the job giving you a head start.
