I have been struggling for sometime with my accounting and I wanted to share with you a shortcut that I discovered after a lot of trial and error. Everyone who starts or manages their own business has ’higher priority’ tasks to perform than spend time on their bookkeeping. Bookkeeping is a ‘chore’ that very few people enjoy doing but should be performed on a consistent basis to avoid problems.
I asked my accountant for guidance and he convinced me I should use Sage Software which turned out to be a small business accounting software package. I instantly went out and purchased the package without even contemplating if it was the right choice. This was definitely one of the biggest mistakes I made as the system turned out to be really difficult to get to grips with and use. OK my first piece of wisdom is that whenever you see the words accounting software tread carefully as it probably means the vendor is making the assumption you understand a substantial amount about accounting.
I had to discover an answer that would work for me so reluctantly I swept my diary and set aside quality time to find a solution. It was really worth doing this as I found a more functional solution than I could ever of imagined called salesorder.com.
This is definitely the easiest software I have ever used and what’s more it is internet based and therefore I can use it from anywhere I choose to work.
