Viewing a film like Journey to the Center of the Earth -3 D both on DVD or Blu-Ray format wearing 3D Glasses
The 3D theater experience made Journey to the Center of the Earth fun, but what about watching 3D movies at home with 3D Glasses on your own home theater? Are the glasses more of a pain that they’re worth? At home, do the effects seem as good as in the theater? These are questions that will be on consumers minds more and more in the coming months, as the number of 3D theatrical releases continues to increase.

Get the thrill of your life with Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D. the movie would have been OK at best, but 3D dinosaurs and carnivorous plants jumping out of the screen made the theater experience worth it. From home, though, the 3D effects might sacrifice a bit of the movie picture quality. Colors will appear muted, and depending on your home theater system setup, you may notice certain parts of the film have poor resolution. Find top of the line 3D glasses in a store near you.
This film is simply far superior in 3D even though the DVD features both the 3D and the regular versions of the movie with the 3D glasses. (assuming you can deal with the 3D glasses and that the movie works well with your particular home theater setup). One tip for getting the best picture quality for a 3D movie at home: watch it in Blu-ray if u can, especially if u have a large TV, as the resolution will not look as good with just a regular DVD. As increasing numbers of 3D family movies are released for home use, we will continue to research the best way to get the most out of your 3D movie experience at home, so that ideally your family can have the real 3D movie experience , right in the comfort of your own home.
