    Blu Ray discs can be played on any model of the Playstation 3.

    PS2 games can only be played on the 20GB, 60GB, and 80GB PS3 consoles. The 40GB PS3 can NOT play PS2 games.

    YES ps2 games and blueray are compatible with the PS3
