My friend bought a used Playstation 2 game and it won’t work in her playstation 2 but yet it works in mine.
All other games work in hers just not this one game….
Why is that?

it might be that your game is forged and that your playstation does not have a converter that allows it to read burned c.d.’s

I don’t know, I have a DVD player that does the same thing. Certain movies either won’t play at all or it is all messed up. Yet they will play on my other DVD player.

    Try cleaning the disc?

Another possibility is that the game is in a region that her console is not, i.e she has a British PS2 that plays region 2 games, and the game that she has is a region 1 that plays in a US ps2. Or your console has been chipped and it plays multi-region, so thats why it works on your. Or 3rd case, her ps2 has slight problems and she needs a new lens in her console.
