Moving means a new dentist, consider this!

April 9, 2009

I recently moved to Ohio from Florida in November of last year. It was an easy move but there were a lot of things that we had to change, including our doctors and dentists. Our Fort Lauderdale dentist was a great dentist that was very nice and offered a great and flexible service. If we were to travel down again to Florida we probably wouldn’t change dentists unless we absolutely had to. The dentist also offered a really cool cosmetic department. I can guarantee that the Fort Lauderdale cosmetic dentistry program and, of course, the Fort Lauderdale Dentist will be willing to satisfy your every, dentist related, need.

Our dentist in Fort Lauderdale was very flexible when it concerned scheduling appointments and such. If we had a conflicting event with school or extra curricular activities, they were always willing to reschedule. I remember, on a Tuesday, I had a track meet at another school at the same time as my dentist appointment. I was upset because I was going to miss my track meet, but my mom called the Fort Lauderdale dentist office and they rescheduled me to another day with no issues. This made my family and I think that we all could rely on our dentist and trust them too.

The dentist in Fort Lauderdale has a fantastic staff and cosmetic dentistry program. My sister was playing in one of her everyday, Saturday softball games, when suddenly she was injured after getting the pitch. She ended up flinching and moved right in front of the ball, which hit her right in the mouth. She had chipped her bottom teeth and had a giant lip. We took her right to the dentist and she was as good as new in just a matter of two hours. We were amazingly happy because we thought that she was going to be really self conscious about chipped teeth, but they were fixed and back to normal!

At your dentist’s office they should welcome you and you should feel like you are coming to a place where they really care about your smile. Try to find a dentist that is accommodating to families and that will also try to tend to your specific needs. From experience, I know that some dentists in Florida are super kind and very helpful when it comes to choosing a dentist. A list of needs to keep in mind includes: the location of the dentist, the insurance acceptance list for the office, the staff, the office interior, the flexibility, and the scheduling ease. It is also a fantastic idea to double check with friends or neighbors, if you’ve moved to a new area.

Fort Lauderdale dentist offices and Fort Lauderdale Cosmetic dentistry offices are some of the awesome locations in Florida to look for great dental care. Florida is a great state, so it is easy to feel overwhelmed, but with a little work it can become very easy to get used to your surroundings and figure out your new plan. Finding all of your new caregivers will be no problem to you once you are settled!
