Wedding Favors Tips

If you are planning your wedding in the near future, don’t forget to start organizing your wedding favors as soon as possible. Fortunately, there are a number of different options which are very easy to arrange at the last minute. This is a part of the arrangements, like the guest list and seating arrangement that will often cause unnecessary stress when there doesn’t have to be any.

Flowers are undoubtedly one easy wedding favor you can give to your guests. Owing to the nature of flowers, they can usually be left until later in the preparations which means the bride and groom will have less to worry about.

Red roses always look attractive and of course they don’t have to be wrapped like many other flowers. Placing the rose on the wedding reception table where the guest are seated is a nice touch and doesn’t need to be done until the last minute.

These days the favorite is using candy and almost three quarters of events will use this as an easy wedding favor which can be enhanced by using a presentation tin. I like the idea that a number of receptions have started to use where the costly centerpiece is done away with completely. All you require to make this successful is to use a large glass bowl and fill it with all your favorite candy for the guests to enjoy.

To complete this idea, a small plain bag or carton can be left for each wedding guest to put their candy into. Your guests will fill up the presentation containers with the candy in the centerpieces making this an extremely convenient gift which does not involve any wrapping.

If you prefer not to give your guests more to eat then another option is a small picture frame and if you like, it can be used on the day as placeholders. Wedding favors that do not require any type of presentation are generally preferred and there is something you can do with picture frames that will avoid this problem. Almost all receptions have place names at the tables for the guests so this is an ideal way to present the frame without the need to spend time and more money on wrapping paper which will only be discarded.

An easy wedding favor that might appeal is to have the photographer take a digital picture of each guest and then present it to them at the wedding reception as they arrive. So to make sure each guest leaves with their photo, the photographer could take along a fast digital printer then they could be printed out whilst the guests are enjoying the reception. One particularly good wedding favor, especially if you have a themed wedding is to have the photographer take a picture of each guest in their finery and give them a copy later during the day. If the photographer can arrange a slide show, the guests not only get a personal memento but they also get the opportunity to see how the photos turned out for all of the other guests as well.
