Moving Truck Rental is Helpful when Moving Animals

Relocating is never a fun thing to do. Relocating with a pet is an absolute disaster. Unless of course, you can get a person to take your pet while you move. In my case, that wasn’t an option. I first needed to find a moving truck rental company. I had to move long distance and I could not do this devoid of one. It took me a while to find one that met my needs. I searched on the Internet for cheap moving trucks and the results were too many. I ended up locating one after viewing a billboard that read, “truck rentals for moving”. I called the number and they had the lowest price and just the size of truck that I needed.

When the relocation began, I had to choose a place for my cat so she would not run away. I placed her upstairs and closed her and her food and liter in my bedroom. That allowed me to move all the boxes and furniture from the downstairs into the truck. Now this was a move that I began on Friday and I was not planning on leaving until early Sunday morning. So my cat had to live in my bedroom for almost two days. Having her food and liter in there was not something I cared for. However, it was a thing that had to be done. If she would have stayed downstairs, she would have definitely got out and then I would have had to waste time looking for her.

After the lower level was moved, I had to then move my cat. I took her to the basement along with her food and liter. She stayed down there until I moved the upstairs to my house. The same process ensued. On Sunday morning the move was complete and I was ready to leave. The fun part was about to begin.

Four hours in a truck with my cat was not a fun time. She cried for almost two hours. She was getting car sick and I could not handle it. I called my vet and she said I should be giving the cat the injection she had given me. She told me it was in the best interests of my cat if she was asleep. So I injected my cat and she went to sleep. I finally arrived and my cat was still asleep while I started to unload my stuff into my new home. It was not an easy move, but it was something that needed to be completed and I am happy it is over with.
